Job Description

JRS Associates have partnered with an innovative precision engineering company in the local area to find a skilled CNC Turner - Setter, Operator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-tolerance machining environment, producing high-value components from exotic alloys. Package: Salary: £27,000 – £28,000 per annum (DOE) 16% shift allowance Shift Pattern: Mornings: 6am – 2pm, Monday to Friday Afternoons: 2pm – 11pm (Mon-Wed), 2pm – 10:30pm (Thu), 2pm – 6pm (Fri) Benefits: 4% contributory pension scheme 3x life cover Modern, clean working environment Free onsite parking Key Responsibilities: Operate, set, and adjust CNC turning machines to produce high-value components. Machine precision parts from exotic alloys to tight tolerances. Perform routine maintenance and health and safety checks on equipment. Collaborate with the team to meet production schedules and maintain quality standards. Maintain high levels of housekeeping and adhere to all HSE policies. Requirements: Experience with small to medium CNC turning operations. Familiarity with Okuma OSP, Fanuc, and Mazatrol CNC systems (preferred). Knowledge of machining processes, including tooling, offsets, and quality checks. Strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office and able to work within a close-knit team.
