Job Advert: SEMH Teacher Location: Birkenhead Start Date: February 2025 Salary: Dependent on experience and pay scale level Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm (term-time only) Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm Are you a dedicated and passionate teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are recruiting for an SEMH Teacher to join a specialist school in Birkenhead, supporting primary and secondary-aged pupils. Role Details: Responsibilities: Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH. Support students with a range of additional needs, including emotional, social, and academic challenges. Work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and external agencies to ensure positive outcomes for pupils. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment to encourage engagement and growth. Key Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching students with SEMH, ideally across primary and secondary age groups. Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
