Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Waste Coordinator to join our clients leading FM company in Stockton. Randstad is seeking a highly organised and proactive individual with exceptional knowledge of waste processes, strong administrative skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, capable of building strong relationships with key stakeholders while ensuring waste operations run efficiently and in compliance with regulations. The Package: Competitive salary between £28,000 - £30,000 (Highly dependant on experience) Main working hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm 37.5 hours per week Generous company pension scheme 28 days annual holidays Training and development opportunities Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily monitoring of Waste Services, including Helpdesk, CMMS, and related service data tracking. Collaborate with partners and contractors to ensure the safe and consistent delivery of Service Level Agreements. Maintain waste compliance documentation and data to support audits and regulatory requirements. Plan, coordinate, and oversee the removal, transportation, and disposal of various waste streams, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Manage waste flows from the Helpdesk, CMMS, and schedules to align with service level agreements. Communicate effectively with contractors, field teams, and management to ensure clarity and timely execution of tasks, including chemical waste transport and uplifts. Track progress and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or unforeseen circumstances. Participate in daily meetings and provide updates to line managers. Conduct drum park reviews to ensure regulatory compliance and safe waste handling practices.
