Early Years - Room Leader

We are seeking a Room Leader to join a warm and welcoming private day nursery in a village on the outskirts of Corby. The Nursery The nursery is dedicated to providing a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where children can thrive. Taking pride in offering high-quality early years education and creating a home-from-home atmosphere for children, parents, and staff alike. The Role As a Room Leader, you will: Lead and inspire a team of practitioners to deliver outstanding childcare Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress Support the professional development of your team through mentoring and guidance Maintain high standards of safeguarding and nursery policies What We're Looking For A Level 3 (or above) qualification in Childcare or Early Years Experience working in a nursery setting, ideally in a leadership role Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures Excellent communication and organisational skills A positive, enthusiastic, and caring approach to childcare What We Offer Very competitive salary based on experience Career progression and training opportunities A supportive and friendly working environment Additional staff benefits, including holiday allowance and pension scheme Early finish on a Friday Lovely village setting with lots of space for outdoor learningIf you are an inspiring leader who is committed to providing the best start in life for young children, we would love to hear from you.
