PMLD Teaching Assistant | Full Time | Secondary | SE7, Greenwich Role: PMLD Teaching Assistant Contract: Full Time Rate: £90 - £105 per day Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 Location: Charlton, Greenwich Do you want to work at newly established school? Remedy Education are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant in Greenwich to work with children who have Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). You'll have to adapt your learning and make sure that you're able to support children who have difficulties with their learning. This position is a full-time, long-term role which means it has plenty of potential of becoming a permanent position. About the school This is a reputable Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) school, with really good resources to help the children learn. The staff are extremely friendly and approachable and are looking for another person to join their incredible team. Ideal Candidate: A strong understanding of children with PMLD. Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student To be patient when working with the children The mindset to strive in a new environment Benefits/Schedule. Supporting students with PMLD mostly on a 1:1 basis Attend to pupils' personal needs, including social health, hygiene, first aid and welfare. To be patient when working with the children. The mindset to strive in a new environment. Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student. Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and SEN professionals.
