Job Advert: Science Teacher – Full Time, Permanent Location: Thanet, Kent Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: February 2025 Salary: Competitive (Dependent on experience) About the Role: Twenty4Seven Education is excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a high-performing secondary school in Thanet, Kent. This is a full-time permanent position, starting in February 2025, where you will have the opportunity to teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic Science lessons that engage and inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and excel. Use a variety of innovative teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring each learner can reach their full potential. Assess and monitor student progress, providing tailored feedback to support their academic development. Participate in regular departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development opportunities. Uphold high standards of behaviour management and create a safe, respectful learning space for all students. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community. What We’re Looking For: A qualified Science Teacher (QTS in the UK) with two years of experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Strong subject knowledge in Science and a genuine passion for inspiring students to explore the subject. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students. A positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team. A commitment to professional development and making a positive contribution to the school community.
