Composite Design Engineer

Overview We are seeking a talented and dynamic Composite Design Engineer with expertise in CATIA surfacing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about turning parts into molds and will have the ability to project manage the production of their parts. Familiarity with CFRP is a bonus. Responsibilities Utilize CATIA surfacing skills to transform parts into molds Project manage the production of parts to ensure quality and efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and create innovative design solutions Conduct design reviews and make recommendations for improvements Keep abreast of industry trends and materials to enhance design capabilities Qualifications Proficiency in CATIA surfacing Knowledge of turning parts into molds Experience in project management Familiarity with CFRP is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Day-to-day Collaborating with team members to discuss and develop design concepts Utilizing CATIA surfacing skills to create molds Managing production schedules and ensuring timely delivery Communicating with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and parts Rate and Hours Rate: Commensurate with experience Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
