BI Developer (Business Information)

We are working with a highly respected and growing company in Cardiff to recruit for an ambitious and creative BI Developer to join their friendly team. Working with some of the biggest names in the retail sector to deliver the latest EPOS technology projects, the BI Developer will play a key role in the development of reporting to assist the business in the provision of clear and accurate Business Information. What you'll do: Using SQL server stack and Alteryx to produce detailed reports Working with the senior management team to produce BI reports which will shape / enhance internal and external customer decisions Prepare and present detailed specification for solutions Testing of solutions to ensure effectiveness before implementation Provide any necessary documentation and technical support following implementation What you'll need: A logical approach with high level problem-solving skills Strong ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences - senior managers and clients Excellent presentation skills Good project management skills - creative to drive own projects Superb team working skills Strong experience of SQL, SSRS, SSIS and SSAS An understanding of Visual Basic, C++, C# and .Net and XML (or willingness to learn) What you'll get: The opportunity to work with an award winning leader in their industry A creative and ambitious team A competitive salary, excellent benefits (including Private Healthcare) Lots of career development
