Job Info Location: MELBOURNE, VIC Salary: >$100,000 Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description Software Engineer (ANZSCO code 261313) Role Definition Lead the solution architecture throughout project lifecycle (Business development, Presale, Scoping, Design, Development, Ongoing operations). Ensure solution meets customer business and technical needs by leveraging Amdocs assets and best practices while integrating with customer IT environment. What will your job look like? Lead the solution design throughout the project lifecycle and be accountable for solution integrity. Provide technical support to Sprint planning, backlog governance, and providing technical oversight of the implementation. Gain insight into customer's environment, challenges, and opportunities and be able to propose areas where Amdocs products and solutions can add value. Ensure proposed solution reflects Amdocs value proposition and competitive advantage. Maintain deep knowledge of industry and technology trends, and standards in order to identify business opportunities based on domain market dynamics. Share and communicate end-to-end solutions (orally and in writing) to executives, business sponsors, and technical resources in a clear and concise manner that is in the vernacular of each group. Design cost effective solution that maximizes value to the customer and considers constraints such as budget, timelines, local market, and meeting customer requirements. Guide various product experts with regard to the solution. Create and support POC/demos and present solutions to client. Provide ongoing feedback to product management for delivery of best practices. Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent Expertise in Amdocs OSS products – OSO, ONI / USM Strong Networks background and knowledge 12 years of relevant Industry experience, with at least 5 years in a customer facing role Knowledge of telecom industry, technical architecture, and industry standards like MEF, and TMF. Experience in leading teams in cross-Amdocs domain solutions Proven experience in defining customer requirements and solutions for project implementation.
