Newly established role working within Uniting’s Housing Services Team Flexible hybrid work arrangements SCHADS Level 5 ($49.28 - $51.51 per hour) Increase your take home pay with salary packaging Full time | Maximum term contract (2 years) Your new role In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with residents, develop partnerships, and support initiatives that bring residents together. With over 800 properties across Victoria, you will work alongside the Community Engagement and Development Lead to deliver Uniting Housing’s Community Engagement Strategy, which focuses on: Building partnerships to enhance community connections Delivering place-based initiatives Support with the coordination, delivery and progression of Uniting Housing’s Consumer Partnership activities Assisting residents to apply for Uniting’s community development grants, and Developing resources, publications and communications, resources that benefit our residents. An extra 17.5% on top of your fortnightly pay when you take paid annual leave Ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits which can be used for living expenses such as rent, groceries, bills, clothing, and much more Up to 10 weeks paid parental leave for primary caregivers (4 for secondary) 10% discount for eligible employees on the childcare subsidy gap fee when using a Uniting Early Learning Service Your skills and experience You will bring with you: A tertiary qualification in community development/community services, or a related discipline Relevant experience in community engagement, or similar role, is highly desirable Capacity to work flexibly and innovatively to create initiatives that benefit our residents Demonstrated ability to build rapport, establish trust, and work collaboratively with consumers and stakeholders An understanding of the community housing sector and issues faced by marginalised communities Current driver’s licence (essential) View the position description here How to apply Click APPLY to submit your interest.
