Job Purpose: We currently have an opportunity for a motivated and organised team player, to join our Events and Venue Management Team in a permanent full time Events Coordinator role. Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Coordinator will form an integral part of the Events and Venue Management team, and will play an important role in delivering major events at Optus Stadium including but not limited to AFL, Rugby, Cricket, and Concerts. Your focus will be: Supporting the safe, efficient and effective operation of the venue, across all functions on event and non-event days. Liaising with hirers and event operational partners as directed to ensure the successful delivery of major events. Assist with the planning and delivery of both event and non-event day activities at Optus Stadium and the Stadium Park. Co-ordinate all parking and accreditation arrangements for event days. Coordinate the collection of post event information including debrief summaries and statistics. Ensuring that all patrons receive an outstanding fans first experience and assist with managing the customer feedback process. Liaison with the hirer to collate all the media and broadcast operational requirements and ensure the media are appropriately serviced on event days. A client first approach to the management of the operational relationship between the Stadium and it’s Hirers and Operational Partners. To be successful, you will have: Qualification in Event Management (or working towards), or relevant experience (see below) A minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar coordination role in Events or Venue Management Competency in Momentus / UBS system (preferred not essential) What we offer: Competitive salary and wellbeing benefits Free Parking.
