Full-time, ongoing opportunity working within the Toddler Program (under 3 year olds) Generous above Award salary Join a welcoming team on our beautiful campus in Burwood PLC is a leading ELC to Year 12 Christian independent day and boarding school with a focus on the development of the whole person that includes an outstanding academic tradition, an international outlook and strong pastoral and co-curricular programs. PLC’s Early Learning Centre provides exceptional early childhood programs for children from 6 months to school age. The Early Learning Centre operates for 48 weeks each year, closing for 4 weeks during the Christmas vacation. The Role PLC invites the interest of experienced, engaging and passionate Early Childhood Co-Educators for a full-time, permanent opportunity in our wonderful ELC team. The successful applicant will work alongside other educators across our under three age group in our Toddler Room. The incumbent will also cover the lunch breaks, planning, and other duties. The role includes 5 weeks’ annual leave (includes College shutdown days over Christmas), 2 additional Gratis Days, and 12 Rostered Days Off (RDO) per year. About You We are seeking a candidate who values working with children aged six months to three years, nurturing their education, development and wellbeing. You will hold an Early Childhood Diploma and a valid Working With Children Check (Employee). You will be a positive and proactive team member who is able to build highly respected, supportive and collaborative relationships with staff, children and their families.
