We’re seeking a passionate Industry Engagement Advisor (Resources) to help shape the future workforce by driving strategic industry engagement and fostering strong stakeholder relationships. About Us: AUSMASA is an independent, industry-led organisation tasked with supporting and transforming VET delivery. We collaborate with industry, government, educators, and the workforce to meet evolving skills needs. As a Jobs and Skills Council, we aim to empower industries with essential workforce capabilities for today and tomorrow. Your Role: There has never been a more exciting time to join AUSMASA as we drive engagement with our industry partners and presence for future employers within the Mining sector. As our Industry Engagement Advisor (Resources) , you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the mining sector's voices are heard in the development of innovative VET training packages. You'll drive stakeholder engagement, maintain data integrity, and contribute to AUSMASA's strategic growth and reputation. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic engagement plans aligned with AUSMASA’s vision. Build strong relationships with industry groups, unions, and training providers. Analyse industry trends and provide insights to influence VET training packages. Manage stakeholder communication systems and plan engagement events. Support advisory groups to ensure comprehensive industry representation. What We’re Looking For: Knowledge of Australia’s VET system and the Australian Qualifications Framework. 3 years of experience in a similar role with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with workforce development and trends in the mining sector. Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Borealis) and Microsoft Office suite. Prior experience influencing key decisions and working with stakeholders in the mining sector. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage complex dynamics. Desirable: Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role. Experience in the mining industry. Previous experience in a start-up or small national team environment. Why AUSMASA?
