The key duties of the position include: What you will do as a Senior Systems Analyst As a Senior Systems Analyst within the Architecture and Cyber Security team, you will work closely with a diverse, highly skilled team, to ensure that technology solutions are aligned with business goals and designed for maximum impact. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in system design, cloud technologies (specifically Microsoft Azure), and agile delivery while fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams. Key Tasks: Requirements Analysis: Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and analyse business requirements, aligning them with organisational objectives, and defining clear acceptance criteria for system implementations. System Design: Conducting detailed analysis of user stories, business processes, and acceptance criteria to design solutions that align with the target state architecture. Testing & Support: Reviewing functional test plans and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure comprehensive system validation. Providing incident support and diagnosing production issues escalated to the Architecture and Cyber Security teams. Communication & Collaboration: Bridging technical and non-technical teams, ensuring transparent communication, and socialising the target state architecture with internal users and decision-makers. Eligibility About you In order to succeed in the role, you will have: proven expertise in system design, solution architecture, and software design principles, ensuring solutions are communicated clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences strong written communication skills, with experience in documenting technical processes, systems, and requirements clearly and accurately and ability to develop and maintain productive stakeholder engagement and work collaboratively across a range of teams experience in designing and maintaining Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks, particularly React familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud capabilities and Microsoft Dynamics 365 ability to adapt to changing technologies and evolving business needs and demonstrate a willingness to continuously learn and improve skills a minimum of a Baseline Security Clearance issued by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (or the the ability to attain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance).
