Job summary: Looking for candidates available to work: Monday: Morning, Afternoon Tuesday: Afternoon, Morning Wednesday: Morning, Afternoon Thursday: Afternoon, Morning Friday: Morning, Afternoon 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role Working rights required for this role Expected salary: $75,000 per year Solid Base Rendering Pty Ltd is looking to hire a Solid Plasterer/Renderer on a full-time basis (8 hours shift) from Monday to Friday. Job description (Your role): Assessing partitions to determine plaster layout and making incisions to access window openings. Measuring, accurately marking and cutting plasterboard to the right size. Applying coats of plaster, cement and render different structures using trowels, levelling and smoothing coats to create flawless thickness. Lifting and positioning plasterboard and fastening to walls, ceilings or battens using screws and other materials where required. Perform textured finishes and decorative textures such as acrylic rendering, concrete finish, polished plastering as required. Smoothen surfaces using sandpaper or power sanders. Fixing, repairing or maintaining existing rendered surfaces. Making sure that all joints and screws are closed using a sealing mixture. Ensure fireproofing materials are correctly bonded with plaster and other materials where required. Potentially fitting and installing mouldings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Qualifications and Work experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in 'Rendering or Solid plastering' OR AQF Certificate III 2 years of work experience in rendering or solid plastering. Knowledge of rendering techniques, tools, and materials. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
