ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently looking for talented team member to join our Monitoring Team. This role is based at our Monitoring Room facility at Epping, Melbourne. Our Monitoring Team are responsible for monitoring the compliance and safety of our local and interstate vehicles and drivers nationally and provide support to our branches across the country in maintaining fleet safety and quality. In this role you will: Monitor compliance and safety of our local and interstate fleet Proactively monitor delays on the road Be involved in incident response and compliance management Deploy and monitor safety technology to vehicles, including Navman, Iface and Guardian Seeing Machines The ideal candidate will: Have a passion for safety and compliance Be familiar with the concepts of Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Have an eye for detail coupled with writing and reporting skills Ability to work well under pressure Be self-driven and able to manage your own schedule Exceptional time management skills and flexibility What we provide: Training in monitoring technology and Mainfreight IT systems, including Navman, Iface and Guardian Seeing Machines A supportive learning and continuous improvement environment World class facilities A culture of promoting from within gives you every opportunity to excel and progress through our business both locally and internationally. The Monitoring Team works across 3 x shifts a day to ensure 24-hour coverage of our fleet. We operate a roster Monday to Friday, with shifts rotating monthly. Some weekend work may be required.
