About the role We are currently recruiting for an Administration Officer to join our Essential Water team in Broken Hill. The Administration Officer role will encompass a broad range of administrative and operational tasks to meet business, customer, and stakeholder requirements. These include data entry, allocation of tasks to field staff, procurement activities, and invoicing. You will be required to liaise with members of the Water Branch, employees from across the organisation and occasionally with external stakeholders. About you To be successful in this position you'll be flexible, self-motivated, and well organised. You will also have: Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment Able to support and resolve queries with customers Strong communication and interpersonal skills A positive and professional work ethic Skills Demonstrated ability to provide administrative and operational support services to a consistently high level of accuracy. Able to handle a varying complex workload whilst maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Strong skills in computer operations and business systems relevant to the role including Microsoft Office products. Able to accept accountabilities and responsibilities and focused on delivering outcomes to meet team objectives. Customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people and handle stakeholders and customer enquiries. Required Qualification Certificate IV in Business or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
