We are a major teaching and research health facility, training the next generation of doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and support staff. We are One Peninsula Health. What You Will Be Doing School Readiness Funding has been made available to eligible early childhood settings within the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula catchment. This provides access to allied health supports with the aim to build educator capacity to support young children's development in the key areas or communication (language development), wellbeing (social and emotional) and access and inclusion. The Psychologist will participate in a small team working alongside professionals in speech pathology and occupational therapy, to enhance the professional and parenting practices of educators and families, using evidence-based programs and strategies to improve outcomes for all children Please refer to Position Description What You Need We anticipate you will have: Recognised qualification in Psychology and full AHPRA registration Demonstrated ability to deliver capacity building and coaching to educators and families to promote skills and knowledge in child development Possess well developed knowledge and practice skills in the delivery of evidence-based interventions to children and their families Current ‘Working with Children Check' and Victorian Driver's Licence.
