Role DescriptionThis is a Rehabilitation Physiotherapist role located at Kinetic Stadium, Frankston. The Rehabilitation Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing, treating and assisting with rehabilitation processes for injured players. This role involves working closely with the high performance and medical team to ensure players' optimal performance and return to play timelines. RequirementsAttend two trainings per week (Tuesday/Thursday) and match days (varies from Friday evening, Saturday/Sunday afternoon/evenings)Design and implement rehabilitation programs under supervision of the Head Physiotherapist and High Performance ManagerProvide physiotherapy services during training and matches to ensure VFL listed players are receiving the highest level of carePerform diagnosis and assessment of injuries during training and match-day alongside the Head PhysiotherapistSupport and lead sports trainers in training and match-day processes if requiredSome interstate travel is required (overnight) pending the season fixture Qualifications Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or graduate-level physiotherapy equivalent)Current AHPRA registration as a physiotherapistStrong practical experience in manual therapy, injury diagnosis and management and tapingExperience designing and implementing rehabilitation programs in a sporting populationExperience with the implementation of injury prevention strategiesAbility to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team DesirablePrevious experience in local sport, talent pathways or VFL programsAPA Level 1 and/or 2 Sports Physiotherapy qualificationDry Needling qualificationExperience using TeamBuildr to program and modify gym/rehabilitation programsExperience interpreting GPS data to inform decisions on rehabilitation plans Please apply via emailing your CV and cover letter to medicalfrankstonfc.com.au and coachfrankstonfc.com.au
