Description: Contract type : Ongoing, Full-time Start date : 1 August 2025 About the roles : Teach the French (classiques and modernes literature) curriculum in French to Secondary school students (Years 6 to 12) Prepare students for examinations Teach within the framework of the fundamental principles of the French and Australian educational systems with high standards expected An ability to teach across different subject areas would be an advantage What we offer: Remuneration as per the Independent Schools NSW/ACT industrial agreement (Annual full time base between a minimum of $86,607 AUD and a maximum of $132,260 AUD, depending on qualifications and experience) Discount on tuition fees if your child is enrolled at the Lycée - up to 40% per child Opportunity to participate in paid extra-curricular activities, $104 AUD for 90 minute sessions Access to a wide range of local and international vocational training opportunities Skills and Experiences: The ideal candidate : Bachelor's degree Master's degree in education competitive examination (CAPES/Agrégation), subject to assessment by Australian agencies Minimum of 4 years' full-time experience Previous experience in the French Education system, with excellent command of the French national curriculum Previous experience in collège and lycée Native French speakers, with level of English equivalent to an overall IELTS general score of at least 5.0 for each subject, i.e. approximately level B1 of the CEFR Knowledge of the AEFE network and the French education system abroad Ability to teach across subject areas is highly regarded
