Our Workplace Relations & Safety team advises large and medium corporate clients, insurers and government and statutory authorities. The practice is busy and growing further with high profile and high-quality work in industrial relations, safety, investigations and employment matters. The team also works closely with our Commercial team on a range of diverse and interesting transactional matters. You will work with a supportive and collaborative team, enjoy a healthy work life balance, be able to participate in pro bono matters and access a transparent pathway for promotion. Ideally, you might have 3 years PAE; demonstrated experience or appetite to step into running contentious and/or non-contentious employment matters, eg safety, enterprise bargaining, unfair dismissal, investigations and general advisory work; sound understanding of workplace relations, industrial relations and safety law as well as experience providing advice on employment matters across a range of commercial transactions; excellent problem-solving skills, and an eye for detail; and for senior candidates, appetite for mentoring our junior cohort.
