This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and is skilled at managing multiple projects, tight deadlines, and diverse stakeholders. Strong communication, multitasking, and time management skills are essential, along with the confidence to ask challenging questions and lead productive meetings. The position calls for a proactive, hands-on professional who can adapt quickly and work independently in a dynamic environment. As an on-site role, it requires a consistent presence in the office and across the hospital campus, including construction sites, with flexibility in shift times to meet operational needs. What You'll be DoingReporting to the Director Redevelopment, LHAP Redevelopment, the Project Officer works with other team members to progress high quality planning, delivery, compliance and reporting for the LHAP Redevelopment project. The incumbent will apply sound project and change management expertise to assess and progress project planning, designing and commissioning / transition requirements. The incumbent will liaise with project and facility staff to ensure projects can be undertaken to minimise disruption to hospital business whilst delivering project outcomes within project scope, time frames and budgets. This next phase includes a new two-tower integrated services building with expanded cancer care, women’s and children’s services, inpatient units, and cutting-edge facilities like the first multimodality Interventional Radiology Suite in Australia.
