What you'll contribute to the position As a Connex Developer , you will use technical expertise to design and implement software solutions for our customers. You'll apply your passion for building clean, robust code to large-scale systems. With your well-developed interpersonal skills, you will be an active team member and contribute to delivering customer-focused, optimal quality business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Application Development: Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for Connex applications. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Document development processes, technical specifications, and user guides. Innovation and Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to financial transaction processing. Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience as a software developer, preferably within the banking services industry. Hands-on experience with Connex platform development and maintenance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in Connex development (e.g., C++, Java, etc.). Strong understanding of transaction processing systems and financial protocols. Experience with database management systems and SQL. Familiarity with software development methodologies and version control systems. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with specific Connex modules and configurations. Knowledge of security standards and best practices for financial applications.
