Cloncurry State School P-12 are seeking applications for a Deputy Principal to join their school community and lead the next generation of future leaders on a temporary full-time basis, until 26 June 2026, unless otherwise determined. About The Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.Deputise for the Principal when required.Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.Embed socially just practices in daily school life.Set high standards for student and staff performance. Rural and Remote Housing Incentive Scheme (RRHIS) - Eligible participants include newly appointed or transferring teachers and school leaders commencing their tenure at designated state schools. Permission to Teach and department interns (Trade to Teach and Turn to Teaching) are eligible. You are not eligible if you already reside within 50 minutes of an eligible school. The scheme includes provisions for initial temporary accommodation paid upfront by the department, followed by a taxable rental allowance aligned with the teacher's weekly rent expenses. While availability of department-provided teacher housing is prioritised, alternative accommodation solutions through the rental market are facilitated where necessary and available.
