THE OPPORTUNITY Salary: $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata 11.5% super annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience). Time Fraction: Part time , 0.8 EFT. Location: Chadstone and Moorabbin campuses. WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check. Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check. Position Status: Appointment to 30th June 2025. The department of Community and Social Inclusion is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual Teacher for Work education programs to develop delivery and assessment tools and deliver quality education and training. In this role you will participate in all facets of the learning process from course enquiry and advice to assessing and determining the educational and training requirements of students. As a Teacher Work Education, you will equip young individuals with essential skills and knowledge to thrive in the workforce, enhancing employability through comprehensive training. You will guide students through the learning process by employing diverse teaching and assessment strategies tailored to their individual needs, creating an inclusive and engaging environment. Join us to shape meaningful outcomes for students ABOUT YOU Relevant tertiary qualification in education or similar, with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent. Experience or qualifications in special needs, inclusive education, or pedagogical practices such as social work, psychology, or vocational education. Knowledge of contemporary teaching methodologies, inclusive pedagogies, and the ability to differentiate curriculum for diverse learners with additional support needs. Proficiency in vocational education and training, with an understanding of national policies, frameworks, and the ability to deliver industry-relevant content. Demonstrated expertise in innovative course design, flexible delivery, and assessment strategies that promote student engagement. Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to plan, research, and adapt teaching to meet individual student needs effectively.
