The Role: SVES is seeking a passionate and skilled Part-Time Emergency Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a part-time member of our emergency and critical care team, you will play an essential role in triaging emergency cases, assisting with a variety of procedures, and providing vital support to both our patients and clients. Key Responsibilities: Triage and prioritise emergency cases Assist in emergency and critical care procedures, including anaesthesia, IV catheter placement, radiographs, and intensive monitoring Provide pre- and post-operative care for emergency and critical patients Work closely with emergency clinicians and specialists to ensure seamless patient care Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates and reassurance during stressful situations Maintain a clean and organised working environment, supporting both clinical and operational needs About You: You hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or a Veterinary Technician Diploma (essential) A minimum of 2 years of experience in veterinary nursing is required Prior experience in emergency or referral practice is desirable but not essential You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills You are able to manage your time effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment You are passionate about animal care and committed to delivering exceptional customer service You are willing to work overnight shifts as required Apply Now VetPartners is an equal opportunity employer and recognises that diversity is crucial to our success.
