Job Description
The key duties of the position include: The Role As an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer (Sustainment), you will be a senior member of our ILS team accountable for the through-life support of select communications security equipment families. Duties include purchase order management, invoice management, account receipt and payment through Defence finance and ILS systems. Duties also include managing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases and providing detailed ILS, procurement and policy advice. This role requires engaging with stakeholders in order to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes. You will liaise with other Projects, Programs, Units, Organisations and Defence Industry partners in order to procure and sustain communications security equipment. As a senior team member, you will be accountable for the development of your team, setting priorities and managing workflow. Some limited travel required to the Greater Sydney region only. About our Team The Information Assurance Systems Program Office (IASPO) Sustainment team is comprised of distinct teams that provide the sustainment philosophy, approvals, management and accountability for a large proportion of the Cryptographic equipment used by Defence, Defence Industry, and Whole of Government. Eligibility Security Clearance: Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at “Negative Vetting Level 1”.
