We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead our team into a new era of growth. About the Role: As Head of Sales, you will be a key driver of our commercial success, leading a talented team and shaping our sales strategy to achieve ambitious targets. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact, developing and executing innovative sales plans, forging strategic partnerships with both established and emerging distribution channels, and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional results. You will be responsible for: Contributing directly to our 2030 Growth Strategy, aligning with long-term commercial and sustainability targets. Developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies that drive sustainable growth across diverse markets. Establishing and monitoring quarterly KPIs and sales targets in collaboration with the Managing Director, providing regular performance reports to the executive team. Leading, mentoring, and developing the sales team, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high performing environment. Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities and markets to broaden our reach. Collaborating with the marketing team to develop compelling sales materials and campaigns that resonate with our target audience. Staying ahead of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate potential risks Conduct regular WIP meetings with the Managing Director and sales team to track progress, provide feedback, and support skill development. Oversee onboarding and training of new sales staff, ensuring the team remains up to date on industry trends and product knowledge. Representing Adventure World at industry events, trade shows, FAM trips, and networking functions. What You'll Bring: A minimum of 5 years of proven success in sales, ideally within the high-end travel industry, with a demonstrable track record of exceeding targets. Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve outstanding results. Deep understanding of the travel market, customer preferences, and emerging trends, particularly within Custom/FIT segment with destination knowledge of Africa, the Americas, Nordics, India, and Southeast Asia. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with partners. A proactive, organised, and highly motivated leadership style with a strategic mindset. A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering a customer-centric culture. A commitment to socially and environmentally sustainable business practices. Proficiency in CRM software, preferably Salesforce, and sales analytics tools. Flexibility to travel as required.
