We work closely with our colleagues in the Curtin Connect team and other colleagues in the Student Services and Global Curtin teams to ensure students are provided with friendly and high-quality customer service. Your new role As a Student Fees and Visa Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that international students have a seamless experience with regards to fee payment and visa compliance. You will work closely with students, faculty, and staff to facilitate timely and accurate processing of student fees, monitor visa compliance, and provide guidance to students navigating the visa application process. Key responsibilities include: Provide excellent customer service to students, addressing inquiries related to fees, visa compliance, and related topics.Collaborate with various university departments to ensure compliance with visa regulations and reporting requirements.Monitor visa expiration dates and overdue debts, initiate timely communication to relevant clients to follow up on relevant matters.Process student fee payments and invoices accurately and in a timely manner.Maintain and update records and databases in accordance with university policy and procedures. To be successful in the role, ideally you will have: Relevant experience in High Education Sector, particularly in a student services environment.Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word.Previous knowledge of Student One (Student Management System) and Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS).
