About the role The Data and Analytics Graduate will work closely with supportive and experienced data and analytics professionals to gain a deep understanding of how to work with data, solve problems and make well-informed business choices in the word of data in the financial services industry. Focusing on Data Engineering and Analytics you will assist in supporting and improving daily data ingestion, transformation processes and automated data quality checks within our data platforms and reports that will help stakeholders make well informed business decisions. Key Accountabilities Review the results of data quality checks and work with internal data stewards and data providers to resolve any issues found Assist with the ongoing maintenance of our data platforms, JIRA boards and compliance reporting Assist with the implementation of data models and processes to feed reporting in PowerBI and other external applications and systems Maintain reference data, statistic data and workflow processes within the data platforms Who we're looking for We are looking for a Graduate to join the fund on a full time, fixed term 12 month contract based in Melbourne. We welcome graduates you have completed a degree in IT, Data Engineering or Data Science or related field in 2023 or 2024 at an Australian Tertiary Institution: The ideal candidate will also have: Understanding of about financial services, investments and superannuation Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Experience with Python, SQL databases and/or JIRA will be highly regarded Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Confidence working with a variety of stakeholders and in taking initiative Willingness to champion and demonstrate the Cbus values and associated behaviours Belong at Cbus We value difference, and embrace people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, gender identities, abilities and thinking styles.
