About the role An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Medical Administrator/Secretary to fill a Maternity leave position for a gynaecological surgeon in Armadale. Working in purpose built, modern rooms this role would suit someone with previous experience with surgical list coordination, stock management and other general secretarial responsibilities. A knowledge of Clinic to Cloud or other specialist software is a requirement. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, adaptable and has a friendly and approachable manner with patients. You would be working alongside another lovely part-time secretary who works for the same surgeon. Clinic hours are 9am - 5pm and the role would ideally be full time (or job share for the right candidates) for approximately 9 months with the opportunity for ongoing work after the fixed period. Flexible starting date no later than early April. What you'll be doing Calendar management and appointment scheduling Liaise with patients, other healthcare providers, and insurance companies Handle patient enquiries and correspondence Maintain inventory and order medical supplies as needed Provide general administrative support to the practice as required What we're looking for Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior medical administration or secretarial role Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in medical terminology and confidentiality protocols Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with surgical billing and theatre bookings essential.
