Reporting to Maintenance Manager. The purpose of the OT Engineer is to provide support on all maintenance projects in the company. The primary responsibility of the OT Engineer will be to conduct activities that ensure that all software and hardware is in good working order, meets safety and regulatory requirements, conduct preventive maintenance activities, and address any functional issues which arise. They will also work closely with clients to meet contractual requirements. Where is the position located? This is Permanent full time position at Woolloongabba, Brisbane QLD What will your typical day look like? Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults across some of Australia’s largest light rail networks. Maintain and monitor various equipment including network switches, CCTV cameras, passenger information equipment, workstations and servers across client systems by conducting routine and corrective maintenance. Maintain and review security solutions, including firewall, VPN services, Anti-Virus, CCTV, swipe card and intrusion detection systems. Investigate and deploy new solutions and technologies for use in client systems. Support existing projects team on project delivery including testing and commissioning of various control and communication projects. Opportunity for short term travel for client projects across Australia. What do we want to know about you? Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT or a related field. Experience in a similar role providing maintenance and/or a Service Desk Level 1/2 role preferred. Knowledge of maintenance procedures, practices, and techniques in the relevant industry. Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment faults and failures using analytical and troubleshooting skills.
