Job Description
Who Are We? The Healthy Collective, through its contract management division Healthy Care Services (www.healthycareservices.com.au), provides centralised contract management and quality assurance for healthcare services into aged care facilities throughout SA and interstate. The Role This is an established but evolving role working for The Healthy Collective, providing operational support and guidance for community pharmacists in the provision of medication services for aged care organisations who are clients of The Healthy Collective. The role is offered as a permanent part-time role of 15 hours per week. Working alongside an experienced clinical pharmacist team and backed by a well-developed operational and quality assurance framework, you will coordinate, and where necessary, participate in the delivery of pharmaceutical services for aged care residents from a trusted network of community pharmacies. The role is based at our head office in Welland, with the requirement to travel to pharmacies and aged care facilities across the southern metropolitan area including the Fleurieu Peninsula. What You’ll Be Doing Scheduling, attendance and administrative support for routine professional quality meetings (the Medication Advisory Committee) Reviewing, developing and training on operational procedures and documents Responding to queries and troubleshooting Coordination and procurement of miscellaneous equipment and consumables Frequent interprofessional liaison with pharmacists, nurses, doctors and senior managers Participating in audits, quality assurance reporting and data entry tasks What You Bring Experience working in Pharmacy and/or Aged Care fields Familiarity with pharmacy systems, laws and practices within Aged Care (highly desirable) Highly developed administrative skills Excellent stakeholder relations and communication skills Confidence to chair interprofessional meetings when required Exceptional problem solving skills and can readily adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask Great attention to detail Empathic and caring nature Hold a South Australian Drivers Licence Hold a National Police Check or willing to obtain Hold a COVID Vaccination Certificate Have the ability to travel intrastate or interstate if required (minimal) Why You’ll Love Your Role A career with purpose - the opportunity to support aged care residents with providing professional healthcare services in their local community.
