Graduate Engineer

We design, manufacture, install, commission and service a wide variety of infrastructure and engineering projects both locally and internationally with our offices and engineering teams in NSW, QLD, VIC, WA, Indonesia, South Africa and New Zealand. If you are a recent Graduate Engineer looking for an opportunity to increase you knowledge and skills at an engineering company that takes projects from design through to commissioning you are invited to apply to join our project team. You will be able to have a hands on approach and direct influence in all stages of the project delivery of Rail Maintenance Vehicles, and Bulk Materials Handling and Processing Equipment. Key responsibilities: Assist with the Project management of various contracts including preparing request for quotations, placement of subcontract orders, cost and scheduling control Liaise with sub suppliers and sub contractors on scope of works, schedules and work quality. Produce HAZOP, Risk assessment, MDR, QA, Operation and maintenance documentation and engineering reports. Travel for inspections and commissioning. Provide assistance with business development, estimates, proposals and tenders through design, drawing and documentation Core competencies and skills: Essential: Bachelor in Engineering or similar Fluent in English with good verbal, written, interpersonal and organisational skills. Computer literacy with Microsoft office and CAD programs. Aspiring to excellence through continuous personal and professional training, learning and being passionate about success Able to effectively manage ones time. Ability to work within the company's QA system and Code of Business Conduct Current C class open license Live in Australia with full working rights and able to start immediately Position will be based at our Berkeley Vale office on the Central Coast of NSW. Ideally the successful candidate will have an engineering background. We are looking for people who are "hands on", can think for themselves and have the drive to get the project completed on time.
