Candidate Requirements: 35 years of tour operating experience Knowledge of Tourplan and WETU (advantageous) Strong geographical, logistical, and product knowledge of South, Southern, and East Africa Good understanding of delivering excellent service to agents/guests Experience with booking systems like Tourplan or similar Aptitude for learning and lateral thinking Excellent organizational and initiative skills Strong communication skills; fluent in written and spoken English Excellent organizational skills, including time management and task prioritization Detail-oriented Computer literate: experienced with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Familiarity with web reporting portals Understanding of the travel industry through study or work experience Knowledge of market operations Attention to detail and orderly work habits for continuity in shared tasks Proficiency in Tourplan, WETU, ZOHO, and Maximizer Understanding quantitative and qualitative data Ability to create strategies and make commercial decisions Knowledge of sales processes and methodologies Strong skills in sales and brand representation Experiential creativity in crafting experiences Commitment to guest/client delight Teamwork and interpersonal skills Conflict management and resolution skills Speed reading and typing abilities Paperless and database filing management High energy levels and ability to work flexibly, including travel and varied hours Self-driven, responsible, proactive, and passionate Strong initiative and sense of urgency Problem-solving skills and quick decision-making Willingness to share knowledge and inspire others This is a live-out position
