Job Description
Change Analyst – ICT Contract to 21/12/2025| Brisbane & Work from Home Join a large Queensland government department as a Change Analyst – ICT, supporting change management activities for the CESR Program. Work with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation. Key responsibilities include: Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. Mentor and participate in knowledge and skill sharing activities with other members of the team. Collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify change and communications impacts from documented solution impacts. Manage and develop the Business Change Impact Assessments (BCIA) and responses to ensure that all nominated change actions are captured. Act as the liaison point for all nominated parties to ensure delivery of BCIA change responses and coordinate the governance requirements. Manage communication impacts and requirements including software change notifications, impacts as a result of defects and communications with customer stakeholders. Manage communications impacts as a result of risks and issues. Manage all communications artefacts required for release governance gates. Review end to end change and communications process and implement new tools and processes to streamline. Contribute to the refining of the stakeholder list as required. Develop various communication tools and business process education packs including communication plan on a page and communication schedule and execute the communication schedule e.g. all channels - written (emails, briefs, newsletter etc.) and face to face (information sessions, logistics for process education sessions). Coordinate communication material to make it fit for purpose to the intended audience. Ensure that relevant knowledge of industry practices, procedures, codes, standards and operations are represented in the communication material and processes. Support business change activities as required. About You Contribute to the effective management of the Division by adhering to relevant financial management practices, quality management practices (ISO:9001) and public administration policies (related to Freedom of Information, Judicial Review etc.). Actively contribute to the creation of a positive work environment that upholds quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour. Demonstrated success in ICT and business process change and communications with a proven record in planning, executing and evaluating ICT and business process change and communications impacts, communication strategies and/or campaigns within a large complex service delivery environment. Demonstrated experience in developing a range of change and communications collateral including presentations and knowledge content. Proven record of achievement in implementing change management activities that achieved efficiency in service delivery and realised sustained service improvement. Exceptional communication, interpersonal and consultation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with senior management and a diverse range of stakeholders. Proven highly developed analytical and problem solving skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities. Queensland based candidates only.
