Senior Solutions Architect

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be a key leader in defining and driving the architecture for IT solutions across the business. Working collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders, you will create and deliver technology solutions that align with and progress the enterprise architecture, ensuring business goals are supported by robust technical frameworks You will have ownership over the full lifecycle of solution designs, from initiation to implementation, and will be responsible for ensuring that solutions meet business needs, adhere to architectural standards, and deliver measurable value. Key Responsibilities: Lead the definition of IT solutions architecture that aligns with overall enterprise architecture and business objectives. Provide leadership and technical expertise for solution architecture across specific business service lines. Work closely with solution architects, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define and implement solutions. Take full ownership of solution design from initiation through design, build, test, and implementation stages. Facilitate technical discussions, guiding teams to ensure the appropriate solution is implemented. Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and the business to deliver solution designs and communicate trade-offs and decisions. Ensure solution architecture meets enterprise standards and manage any deviations or exemptions. Maintain traceability of solutions to project/program objectives and business requirements. Prepare and present solution designs to stakeholders, including project managers, developers, testers, and business analysts. Work with Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment with domain architectures and strategic goals. Drive continuous improvements and maturity in the solution architecture practice. What You’ll Bring: 8 years of experience in solution architecture or a similar role, with a proven track record in delivering complex solutions. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking abilities. Extensive experience in delivering end-to-end solution designs (high-level and detailed) for medium to large programs/projects. Proficiency in producing solution architecture across functional, application, data, security, infrastructure, and integration domains. Strong experience in managing stakeholders and negotiating technical outcomes. Ability to manage multiple vendors and balance competing priorities. Experience with Guidewire, Payments platforms and Automation is highly regarded. Technical leadership experience, with the ability to influence teams and drive successful outcomes.
