The Role The Principal Engineer is a vital leadership role within the company, responsible for overseeing project delivery and mentoring junior staff. The Principal Engineer will collaborate with Discipline and Business Unit Leaders to enhance the company’s technical capabilities and drive profitability, while ensuring alignment with the organisation’s values, goals, and objectives. Key Responsibilities Promote a culture of technical excellence and client-focused delivery, including reporting, client interactions, and training. Manage daily project operations to ensure timely delivery within budget. Deliver technical projects successfully and support Discipline and Business Unit leads in driving business growth Identify process optimisation opportunities and implement strategies to improve efficiency. Key Requirements Ideally 20 years of professional experience Master's degree in engineering (ideally) Proven mining leadership with a track record of high-quality technical delivery Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making ability Demonstrated industry leadership.
