Mine closure geotechnics Tertiary qualifications in science, earth science or engineering Specialised expertise in geotechnical design and mine design software Principal Geotechnical Engineer - Tailings - Brisbane and Perth Lead the design, analysis, and evaluation of tailings storage facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices Conduct geotechnical analysis, including stability assessments, seepage modelling, and deformation studies for TSFs. Oversee tailings deposition planning, closure design, and reclamation strategies. Perform risk assessments for tailings storage facilities, including emergency response planning. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their technical and business needs.
