Helpdesk / Level 2 Support – ICT Contract to 30/06/2025 with possible extension | Brisbane & Work from Home Join a large Queensland government department as a Helpdesk / Level 2 Support – ICT, providing IT support across strategy, service delivery, security, and stakeholder engagement. About the Role: The ICT Officer Role often works across functional boundaries within PT’s complex and dynamic ICT environment. Reporting to the team Manager, the ICT Officer provides support to clients both within a Service Desk environment and on-premises when required. Key responsibilities include: Maintains strong positive relationships with the management, team members, and stakeholders and actively participates in teamwork and activities. Provides accurate specialist advice and guidance to business, management and other key stakeholders with regards to delivery, operation and use of ICT and information management, and potential business benefits. Investigates problems in systems, processes and services and assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures. Carries out agreed operational procedures and contributes to standards and procedures for the achievement of good practice. Participates in the delivery of services including development of products, testing and remediation of identified issues, assistance and support for users, as well as maintenance of accurate records and documentation. Actively participates and contributes to the plans and collective achievement of Information Services team targets, goals and objectives. Contribute to an equitable, healthy and safe work environment. About You Experience with ITSM tool ServiceNow and, while not mandatory, relevant tertiary qualifications in Business and/or Information Technology will be highly regarded.
