The Cafe Manager will set standards, lead by example and be responsible for delivering a quality product and service. This is a very exciting project that needs a strong and driven leader to take ownership with the full support of an amazing Head Office team. Responsibilities Operational Management - Hands on management of the daily running of the cafe from opening to closing. Team Leadership - Directing and motivating the team to uphold all of the values of the business while creating a positive and inclusive workplace. Customer Experience - Leading by example and setting the standard for seamless customer service and professionalism. Training Development - Accountable for all ongoing training of standards of service, processes and systems, health, safety and product knowledge. Quality Control - Ensuring consistency in the quality of the product, setting, maintaining and enhancing standards. Compliance Safety - Adhering to all health and safety rules and regulations and maintaining optimal working conditions and expectations. Financial Management - Managing costs, driving sales and controlling budgets, wastage and resources efficiently. Requirements Proven industry experience with at least 2-3 years in a similar role. Amazing people skills with the ability to engage and development a positive team. Strong understanding of cafe and catering operations from customer service to inventory management and cost control. Passion for great food and amazing coffee. A love of the customer experience and ensuring that the standard is high. Solid understanding and interest in current food trends and cafe culture. Great financial acumen to be able to understand how to manage costs and drive business. Flexibility to work the required hours including weekends and some evenings if needed.
