Essential Functions & Responsibilities -Implement secure solutions that suit the company’s risk appetite and increase the organization’s security posture -Assist with operational departments to innovate and preserve security strategy and framework the for business units and company-wide projects -Perform incident response and remediation procedures -Install and maintain appropriate security technologies, systems, tools, and countermeasures for risk mitigation and vulnerability management -Maintain knowledge of current security and technology products, threats, and trends -Assist in security standards, procedures, and policy development -Provide security guidance and training to business and IT employees Skills: Security, Information security, Security architecture, Checkpoint, windows server, Firewall, Access management, Access, Cissp Top Skills Details: First United Bank is looking for a well rounded Sr. Security Engineer who has experience within Windows Server & Firewall to help on their Cyber Security Team Top Skills Required: -Strong Windows Server - Hardening Experience- Engineering/Solutions/ 7 years -Checkpoint Firewall/Fortinet- configuration, troubleshooting, engineering, implementation - 5 years -Access and Identity Management - 5 years -CISSP, CISA, Microsoft Certifications Additional Skills & Qualifications: This individual will be working on first and second line defense, implementing controls & review and monitor controls, ensure configurations, install products- build road maps for solutions with leadership % Breakdown on role 20% Designing/Architecting - Road Map building with leadership team 70% Engineering, Implementing, Building, Updating, Enhancing- ensuring FUB meets risk tolerance 10% Ops Support & Maintenance Tools in current environment: Microsoft Windows Server, Work Station, VMWare, Hyper-V, Checkpoint/Firewall, Fore scout, Cisco Routers/Switches, Meraki Wireless, OCTA, Mobile Iron, Proofpoint, AS400, Linux Distributions, Nessus Vulnerability Scanning
