If so, we want to hear from you About the Role: As the Head of Technical Compliance, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic management across food safety, quality assurance, environmental standards, ethical practices, and supply chain integrity for the business. You’ll play a pivotal role in leading technical innovation in farming, processing, and product development while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Technical Compliance & Quality Assurance: • Lead systems that ensure product safety, legality, and quality requirements compliance. • Drive the implementation of electronic internal auditing systems across the group. • Establish and maintain technical and quality standards that exceed customer expectations. Technical Leadership: • Provide strategic direction for technical functions across farming, processing, and marketing. • Serve as the senior technical contact for compliance and food safety activities. • Represent the business with customers, government officials, and the media on technical matters. Group Strategy: • Promote a positive impact on the environment, consumers, employees, and communities through compliance activities. • Raise the profile of compliance achievements and values across the group. What We’re Looking For: A degree in a food-related discipline and over 10 years of experience in chilled foods, with central/group compliance accountability. Proven expertise in retailer codes of practice, chilled ready-to-eat foods, and multi-site operations. A natural leader with a drive for excellence, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.
