Digital Release Manager Location: Newcastle, York, or London Contract: Fixed-term, 12 months - £75,000 per annum Are you ready to steer the transition of cutting-edge digital systems and services to deliver fantastic user experiences? I'm looking for a Digital Release Manager to join our dynamic Digital and Innovation team. In this role, you’ll oversee the release and transition of quality, compliant digital systems across a retail ecosystem and beyond. You’ll coordinate across stakeholders, ensuring smooth service transitions. Key Responsibilities Lead release management and service transition activities. Develop and execute detailed transition plans with clear milestones. Collaborate with Test Managers to align testing with deployment plans. Manage and streamline change management processes, exploring automation opportunities. Oversee version control and incident management across digital environments. Drive root cause analysis and reporting for technical incidents. Maintain and update a knowledge base for the digital ecosystem. Act as the Product Owner for the Jira system, optimising issue tracking and documentation. Identify innovation opportunities and improvements in processes and systems. What You’ll Bring Degree in IT or equivalent experience. Proven expertise in release management, service transition, or related IT roles. ITIL certification and in-depth knowledge of change management processes. Strong technical background in supporting digital products and innovation. Experience in managing large-scale transitions across teams and vendors. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a focus on stakeholder collaboration. Familiarity with core business systems and industry-specific technologies.
