Construction Health and Safety Consultant Northwest based (with remote working flexibility) Permanent £40,000 to £45,000 per annum generous car allowance and benefits A highly regarded Northwest-based consultancy, specialising in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Construction Health and Safety Consultant to join their expert team. With a strong reputation built on referrals and long-term client relationships, this organisation prides itself on delivering tailored health and safety solutions to designers, developers, contractors, and property owners. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to take a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, design safety, and excellence in client service. The Construction Health and Safety Consultant will be responsible for: - Leading the design process and ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations. - Providing expert advice on health and safety risks during project design and construction phases. - Managing pre-construction information, health and safety files, and Construction Phase Plans. - Conducting site inspections and offering ongoing health and safety support to stakeholders. The Construction Health and Safety Consultant will have: - Ideally a Diploma/Degree in Health & Safety or a related field, with Cert/GradIOSH status (working towards CMIOSH). - Proven consultancy experience in construction-related health and safety and CDM functions. - Technical qualifications in architecture, construction, or engineering (preferred). - Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. - A valid driving licence and flexibility to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
