Protection Engineer

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen within Integrated Utility Services, and we are looking for a Protection Engineer to complete HV/LV design, plant commissioning, protection commissioning and protection maintenance. This role is based at our Stockton office. Along with a salary range of £58,176 to £66,873 we also offer benefits such as: Enrolment into our double matched pension scheme A car allowance scheme Key Responsibilities: Design of High Voltage/Low Voltage Protection Systems High Voltage/Low Voltage Protection Commissioning High Voltage/Low Voltage Protection Maintenance Plant Commissioning Engineer Fault find and rectification measures Technical support for IUS G59/99 Protection Commissioning Subcontractor management Procurement of materials for electrical panels – i.e. interposing relay G59/G99 Key Competencies: Safety Management Planning and organising IT literacy Time management skills Qualifications and Attributes: Essential Qualifications and Experience HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent An introduction to Power System Protection Construction site or plant safety trained - CSCS and/or CCNSG Desirable Qualifications and Experience Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Power System Protection Knowledge and design of complex protection studies
