What You’ll Be Doing As an Electrical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing electrical systems and power distribution networks for advanced defence applications. Producing detailed schematics and ensuring integration with other system components. Conducting electrical calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimise performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet technical and regulatory requirements. Ensuring compliance with industry standards such as MIL-SPEC, BS, or IEC standards. Supporting testing, troubleshooting, and validation processes for electrical systems. What We’re Looking For We are looking for candidates with: A degree in Electrical Engineering , Electronic Engineering , or a related discipline. Proven experience in electrical design, ideally within the defence or aerospace sectors. Proficiency in electrical design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar software. A strong understanding of power systems, circuit design, and safety regulations. Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and power distribution systems is a plus.
