Sales Executive

Essex based leading Freight and Logistics provider who are looking for a Senior BDM to join their team selling the complete suite of services including Sea Freight, Air Freight, Road Freight, Warehousing, Supply Chain Management Solutions. My client is only considering candidates who are currently working for a Freight Forwarder or Logistics Company in the UK, ideally based in the South East of England. The package: Salary £60,000 - £75,000 per annum Leading Bonus Structure - 20% of file GP paid monthly Company Car - Car Allowance Holidays - Up to 27 Days plus bank holidays Employee Assistance Programme Employee discounts - access to a multitude of discounts for holidays, high street fashion, supermarkets, gym memberships, insurance, and more. Pension – 7.5% Employer Contribution Private Medical Healthcare Life Assurance - Death In Service benefit Responsibilities: Manage and develop a customer portfolio across all modes, Sea, Air and EU Road Freight. Build and expand strategic networks with partners and other players. Forecast future trends and developments. Monitor and report activities. Conduct market and competitor analysis. Attend trade fairs and conferences. Your Qualifications Strong commercial skills. Ability to influence and impact people at all levels. Effective written and oral communication. Proven sales success and understanding of sales concepts. Successful in developing sales plans and analyzing profitability. Excellent persuasion, influence, negotiation, and presentation skills. Good time management. Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and other PC applications. Experience in business-to-business sales in the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry (minimum 2 years). Project management skills and experience.
