Business Crime Opportunity – 1-5 PQE £85,000 - £110,000 City of London A nationally recognised boutique firm, with a top-tier Legal 500 offering and a reputation for dealing with complex matters is looking for a Associate to join their thriving Business Crime managing a wide variety of white-collar crime cases. Their client base is diverse and often international, with cases frequent matters appearing in the news. This opportunity is for a junior Associate that is interested in focusing their current caseload on high quality matters including fraud, anti-money laundering, bribery, corporate investigations, antitrust (cartels), fraud, and insider dealing. This firm is quickly growing and with a highly competitive salary this is a great fit for an up-and-coming Solicitor looking to gain an exciting caseload. Key Responsibilities: Managing a varied caseload of Criminal matters relating to white-collar crime, corporate investigations, and related matters. Typical matters can include fraud, anti-money laundering, bribery, corporate investigations, antitrust (cartels), fraud, and insider dealing. Assisting senior Solicitors and Partners with complex matters and assisting with the growth of the larger team and firm. Building relationships with clients and maintaining the highest standard of care while ensuring full compliance. Desired Skills and Experience: UK qualified solicitor of 1-5 PQE, with strong post-qualification experience from a recognised and reputable firm. Strong understanding and experience with Criminal Law matters, including significant experience in Fraud or other areas of white-collar crime. Experience managing clients and of handling a caseload with minimal supervision. Strong academic background, ideally with a 2:1 degree at a minimum. Friendly, with an appreciation for firm culture and internal firm development. Excellent communication skills with colleagues and members of staff. High levels of attention to detail. A duty accreditation is beneficial but not essential.
