Project Engineer

A Project Engineer is required to join a machinery supplier in the Tamworth area. The role is office based and will involve occasional travel to customer sites. Project Engineer Responsibilities Lead and support large, complex projects from the sales handover stage through to completion and customer handover, under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager. Coordinate and utilise internal and external engineering resources effectively to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Develop and maintain best practices within the project team, embedding them into the engineering team's operations. Promote a Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) culture, fostering continuous improvement and efficiency Provide feedback to the Sales and Technical teams on installation improvements to enhance future project delivery, supported by structured regular communication updates. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience 3- 5 years' of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager Commutable to the Tamworth area Working knowledge of CAD, engineering drawings and manufacturing principles. Salary - Up to £45,000, 25 days holiday, 38 hour week.
